QLD YOUTH CAMP & CHAMPS
ANNUAL TRAINING CAMP AND REGATTA
The 2019 Queensland Youth Camp & Championship is once again being held at Keppel Bay Sailing Club and this year will be held from 23 to 28 September. The camp and regatta are open to all Australian sailing junior and youth classes and entries open on 1 July 2019.
Training Camp 23-25 Sept – Improve your skills with some of the best coaches in Australia $325pp
Green Fleet 23-28 Sept – Development camp and regatta sailed in the safe sheltered waters of the Causeway Lake $150pp (recommended level of competency Tackers 3)
Qld Youth Championship 26-28 Sept – Single handed entry $145, double handed entry $185

WHERE IS YEPPOON?
HOW DO YOU GET TO YEPPOON? WHAT ARE SOME TRANSPORT OPTIONS?
If you are not travelling by car with your boat there are a few options to get here.
The Rockhampton Airport is exceptionally well serviced with multiple flights to and from Brisbane daily direct flights from Sydney and Townsville connections on to other ports around Australia. Airlines that fly into Rockhampton include QantasLink and Virgin Airlines.
BY COACH OR BUS
Greyhound Australia and Premier Motor service operate from the Central bus terminal in Rockhampton with multiple services connecting with Brisbane and Cairns daily. Young’s Buses operate to and from Yeppoon.
Queensland rail’s Travel train operates services daily to Rockhampton from Brisbane. Services are also available to Cairns. The High Speed Tilt train services run four times a week between Brisbane and Cairns.
IF YOU ARE TRAVELLING BY ROAD
Major Highways link the region with all parts of Queensland and Southern states. These include:
- Pacific Coast Touring Route
- Leichardt Highway
- Australia’s Country Way
- Capricorn Highway.
Yeppoon is 40km from Rockhampton.
