START SAILING (ADULTS)
Your Sailing journey starts here as you learn the fundamental skills of sailing and are introduced to the fun of dinghy sailing in a safe and supportive environment. Start Sailing Courses at the Keppel Bay Sailing club are run over a weekend. We aim to make every course as informative and fun as possible, we love what we do and we are sure you will to. Not only do you get to enjoy the thrill of being on the beautiful Keppel Bay waters but this is also a great opportunity to meet new people and have a blast while doing it. $180pp for two days training.
TACKERS (KIDS & TEENS)
Tackers is an introductory, fun, games-based sailing program designed for kids aged 6 to 12, delivered at recognised Tackers Clubs throughout Australia. Kids don’t need to have any sailing experience. All the equipment, including the boats, is provided.
There are 3 steps to the Tackers program. The first step, Tackers 1, is conducted over 4 days as a school holiday program. Children are able to complete Tackers 2 & 3 on Sunday mornings during school terms or as another school holiday program. $150pp for four days training, morning tea, lunch and a special Tackers kit!
DISCOVER SAILING SUNDAY (CASUAL EXPERIENCE)
Get on board with us at the Keppel Bay Sailing Club and let us introduce you to the thrill of small boat sailing! A qualified instructor will be on board with you on your journey and will be able to show you the ropes and answer (almost) all of your nautical questions. Take in the beautiful scenery of the Capricorn Coast and islands as the wind guides you around the bay. You will also be able to try your hand at steering the boat and controlling the sails. No experience necessary. $18pp or $50 for a boat of up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. Includes $5 discount at the Beach Club Cafe.
SUP HIRE
Make the most of the sheltered waters in the Keppel Bay and hire a stand up paddle board. Perfect for early mornings during the summer months, this is a fun activity either on your own or with friends. $20 per SUP for one hour, $30 for two hours.
